Our Team

 

Our team consists of a number of experts who are ready to assist you!

ADRC Professionals:

  • Options Counselors are available to provide free, confidential information and assistance by phone, email, or speak with you in person when visiting our office during business hours. Options Counselors can also offer options that are available to meet your long-term care needs and help you determine if you will be eligible for public funding for your long-term care.
  • Caregiver Support Specialist (CSS) can provide family caregivers (adult family members, friends, other informal care providers) information, support, and resources to help better care for themselves and their loved ones. CSS operates under the WI Family Caregiver Support Programs.
  • Dementia Care Specialists (DCS) provide dementia-related support and services to the ADRC, community, individuals, and families, including but not limited to, providing one-on-one information, care consultation, and referrals for individuals with dementia or their family caregivers.
  • Disability & Elder Benefits Specialists can help answer questions and solve problems related to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, health insurance, and other public and private benefits.

Adult Protective Services (APS) includes a team of Social Workers and Social Service Specialists who investigate reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of La Crosse County adults-at-risk, including elders.

Elderly Nutrition Program is lead by a Nutrition Coordinator and Social Service Specialist who oversee and support day-to-day program operations, facilitated by a team of Elderly Nutrition Program Workers and volunteers who serve congregate meals or deliver home-delivered meals throughout La Crosse County.

ADRC Leadership & Administrative Support consists of an ADRC Manager, Supervisors, an additional Social Service Specialist, and Clerk who collectively provide administrative oversight and/or support for the team of ADRC staff and volunteers and programs and services provided throughout La Crosse County.
