The La Crosse County Hazardous Materials program has a recycling program for your unwanted electronic items. Did you know that many electronics contain heavy metals like lead, mercury, and several rare metals that can be easily recycled? Electronic waste (E-waste) can be recycled at the Hazardous Materials Facility during the following schedule:
Fees:
- Households and K-12 Schools - FREE for all e-waste (including TVs)
- Businesses - $0.20 per pound. Monday or Thursday only. Call for an appointment.

HHM is now accepting appliance that conating Freon and other
refrigerants for a fee.
$10.00 for window air conditioners, dehumidifiers and other small items.
$20.00 for full size refrigerators and freezers.
