Mission
Statement
- The
mission of the La Crosse County Juvenile Detention facility is
to provide a safe, secure, and structured environment for
juveniles in our care. Our professional, committed staff provide
consistent strength-based programming through interaction with
residents. Our direct supervision model ensures that children in
our care are treated with respect and dignity, yet held
accountable for their actions. We provide protection and support
for families and communities, in accordance with state statutes
and administrative codes.
Who We Serve
Children lawfully detained in Wisconsin that are at least 10 years old but
less than 18 years old.
