Proper use of your outdoor wood

Burn only clean dry wood
Don’t use the furnace on warm days when
neighbors have open windows
When installing a new furnace find a
location that won’t affect your neighbors.
Extend the chimney height to help dissipate
the smoke.
Don’t use when there is no wind and the
smoke settles to the ground.
MATERIALS THAT MAY NOT BE BURNED.
Rubbish or garbage including but not
limited to food wastes, food wraps, packaging, animal carcasses,
paint or painted materials, furniture, composite shingles,
construction or demolition debris or other household or business
wastes.
