The County Aging Unit provides helpful information regarding aging services to all those who are 60 and over, their families and advocates regardless of income or need.

Areas of assistance include:


Senior Dining - Visit one of our congregate meal sites, socialize, play cards, learn about

      aging issues while you eat a nutritious meal.

Home-Delivered Meals - Cant get out any more?  Dont sacrifice good nutrition.  We deliver. 

      Remember:  A years worth of Home-Delivered Meals costs less  than one day in the


Elderly Benefit Specialist - Help for persons (60 or older) who

     Want to know more about public or private benefits; such as Medicare,

         Medicare D, Senior Care, Social Security and other benefits.

Need help organizing paperwork; such as Medical Bills and applying for 


Have been denied a benefit they are entitled to.

Elderly & Disabled Transportation - The MiniBus will pick you up anywhere in La Crosse

County and take you anywhere in La Crosse County.  Additional assistance is available

through the Volunteer Driver Program.  Call Find A Ride 888-300-9796 for more information.

Are you a caregiver too?  Caregiving can be rewarding, but it can also be hard even though you

     care for someone you love.  The Aging Unit offers information, support and resources to help    

     caregivers take better care of themselves and their loved one.

La Crosse Senior Life   - Keep on top of aging issues, services and support.  Great information

     sent to your home monthly and includes our menus so you know whats for lunch. 

Ensure Plus Program - We offer Ensure Plus to those with nutritional needs offering different

flavors.    We offer home-delivery and on-site pick up.
