GHB is a tasteless, colorless substance that is often mixed with other beverages.  Doses, usually capfuls of the liquid, are sold for $5-$10.

It has an intoxicating effect on the use.  This effect can turn dangerous at higher doses.  There is a fine line between a normal and an unsafe dose of GHB.

GHB is a depressant and relaxes the body.  An overdose of GHB can cause drowsiness, nausea, vomiting, lowered respiration, and potentially death.

GHB is a "date rape" drug and can cause amnesia.

There is no legal use for GHB in the United States.
