- The Family Matters Newsletter comes
out 4 times a year (approximately March, June, September and December)
and is organized with community input by the Children with Special Needs Units. Each newsletter highlights:
- upcoming activities for children
with special needs and their families
- information on community resources
and trainings
- an article by the Children with
Special Needs Supervisors
- a "Partner Picture" section that
introduces a community service provider and what supports and
programs they have available
- any other special features we find
along the way!
- This
newsletter is an avenue to communicate all things relevant
to increasing the opportunities for children with special needs in
the La Crosse area. The newsletter is a community publication and
you are
welcome to add ideas or information you believe is relevant. If you are
a parent and would like to pass on some valuable knowledge, inside tips
or stories to share with other parents please let us know and we can
feature an article(s) in our “Family to Family” section.
