|
La Crosse County Human Services has been certified to be a provider for the new Medical assistance benefit called CCS (comprehensive community services). This is a mental health recovery and empowerment based program for persons who need an identified service facilitator to work with the consumer and their natural support system in developing a comprehensive plan for services from community agencies to meet their mental health needs. Like CSP (community support program), it's targeted goal is to assist persons with mental illness to live independently in the community with services they feel are necessary to improve their quality of life and meet their needs.
