Child Care Assistance

Child care assistance may be available to parents who attend school, work or are in other qualifying activities. In La Crosse County, if you are attending school which includes: English as a second language (ESOL), HSED, GED, or an institution of higher education, you must be working at least 5 hours a week in order to qualify for child care assistance to pay the costs for both work and school hours. If you are working and going to school, Child Care for hours while in school can only be paid for up to 24 months.
