To provide parks, campgrounds and other
outdoor areas and facilities that will afford an opportunity for the public
to enjoy a quality experience in the out-of-doors. |

To serve the County as an advocate of the
environment and a protector of our natural resources. |
BUILDINGS

To assure that County government has clean,
well-maintained facilities which meet public expectations while also
encouraging a positive work environment for employees. |

To serve as a resource to all County
Departments in matters involving capital improvements and maintenance. |
PROPERTY
MANAGEMENT

To represent the County in all matters of
real estate and serve as protector and keeper of all County lands unassigned
to other departments. |
|
|
To oversee and coordinate the leasing of
surplus County property assuring that such activities are in the best
interests of the County. |
To
perform these functions in as efficient and cost effective manner as possible.
